Introduction to the Programming Language Java

The introduction course to the Java language for developers without previous knowledge in Java programming. The basic concepts of the Java language and Virtual Machine are covered and practiced with a lot of hands-on exercises. Previous knowledge in any compiler language is useful but not required.

Java Advanced Course

The seminar dealing with modern Java technologies. Several packages from the Java library are examined. We cover in particular serialization, reflection, network programming, GUI, multi-threading and object communication across process boundaries. In addition to that, a closer look is taken at the VM and the bytecode. A solid basic understanding of the Java language is a requirement for the course.

Java for C/C++ Programmers

This seminar is specifically conceived for C and C++ programmers who need an introduction to Java. We build on the knowledge of C/C++ programming techniques in order to dedicate ourselves entirely to the new language and architectural concepts of Java. A solid basic knowledge of the C or C++ language is therefore a requirement for this course.
